Boost your chances of scoring a second date with these tips!

If you’re anything like most guys, chances are convincing a woman to go out with you on a second date is your top priority when you’re taking her out for the first time.

Unlike what a lot of self-proclaimed “pickup artists” and “dating gurus” are saying, though, pulling it off doesn’t involve acting like the alpha male or perhaps dressing in loud clothes to really get her attention.

Put yourself in a woman’s shoes for a moment. If you were to go out on a first date with a guy who acts like a jerk and has a terrible taste in fashion, would you have the heart to do it a second time?

Well, I think you already know the answer to that one.

However, I learned some pretty useful things that will help boost your chances of acing a first date during my extensive research into the female psychology. Make sure you read on to learn more…

Let her in on the planning and organizing.

Sure you may think that arranging a first date is purely a man’s job, but you’re actually missing out on a lot of brownie points when you go it alone.

Make it a point to consult her when you’re planning and organizing your first date. Besides making her feel that you really care about her and what she likes, you’re also going to learn a lot about her as you go along.

Make sure you look and smell nice.

I know that this sounds rather simplistic and redundant, but this is one factor that can easily make your chances of scoring that second date plummet before you know it.

Keep in mind to take a long, meticulous shower, slap on some deodorant and plan your outfit accordingly. Be very careful with your shoes while at it since women are very particular about footwear.

Don’t overdo it on the accessories as well.

Be on time.

Punctuality is an essential when it comes to first dates. Arriving late only gives her the notion that you’re really not that interested in going out with her.

Make it a point to be at the venue at least 15 minutes ahead of schedule.

Talk about easy stuff.

One piece of advice: trying to break the ice with complicated subjects like politics, science and similar things will only make you look like a blowhard to your date.

Go for trivial stuff instead.
