Unlike what you see in the movies, having a successful date isn’t something that you can pull off by just doing something cliché to really get a woman’s attention and hoping for the best.
Now while I think that there are no surefire dating tips that can ensure your date is going to be a success, I’ve learned a few mistakes during my extensive research into the female psychology may just prevent you from getting on the right track.
Let me explain what I mean…
Not having the right mindset.
If you’re anything like most men, you probably have the notion that you’ve finally got a shot at romance with the woman you’ve got your eye on for a long time now because she agreed to go on a first date with you.
Although this is partly true, thinking that you should pull out all the stops in terms of romance when you go out with her for the first time is a very big no-no.
This is because women basically think of first dates as friendly situations where they meet new people.
How do you think she’ll react when she feels that you’re going full Casanova on her when she’s simply looking to make friends?
Not engaging her in the planning process.
Most guys believe that planning and organizing a date should be entirely their responsibility. Now while having initiative is a plus among women, not letting her in on the whole thing can keep you from really getting the brownie points to ace a date.
Make sure you consult her when you figure out key details like the venue, the food and drinks you’ll have as well as the activities that you’ll do together.
Apart from making her feel that you’re really determined to make your date amazing for her, you will also have clues about the things she likes in the process.
Not knowing how to break the ice.
Exchanging meaningful ideas properly with a woman is a priority when it comes to dates. Besides knowing her a lot better, you will also make her feel that she enjoys talking with you.
This boosts your chances of convincing her to go out with you another time.
However, some men seem to not have an idea how to break the ice. Keep in mind to start things off by asking simple and trivial questions and you’re on your way.
